Philadelphia based VILLA, a lifestyle inspired footwear and apparel retailer, recently announced its new location at Destiny USA.
The specialty retailer currently has 34 locations in the United States, with multiple locations in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, PA. VILLA is well known for supplying the best of fashion “from head to toe” with selections from Nike, Jordan, Timberland, Adidas, Puma, Rocawear, LRG, Blac Label, and New Era, among others.
“Sneaker Villa is a lifestyle brand that offer more than just shoes and apparel,” David Aitken stated. “They bring style, confidence, and entertainment to youth. This is a great addition to our retail component.”
With a high energy environment, Sneaker Villa has common areas, flat screen TVs and a DJ every Friday and Saturday. In addition to a footwear and apparel retailer, VILLA prides itself on being a gathering place for aspiring community leaders and a comfortable place for friends to relax and have a good time.
This will be the brand’s second location in New York State. VILLA will be located on the second floor and take 5,465 square feet.
Beauty Plus Salon is opening a second location at Destiny USA
Beauty Plus is a well known brand to Carousel Center. They are currently located on the first level across from JC Penney. Their second location will be on the second floor of the expansion and take approximately 1,763 square feet.
Beauty Plus Salon specializes in professional beauty products and salon services. They carry hundreds of beauty related products from hair products, nail polish, accessories and make up. Haircuts and styles for men and women are also done in-store.

Destiny USA is pleased to announce that Ecko Unlimited will join the expansion. The outlet store will be the first within the region.
“Ecko Unlimited will open its first store in Central New York at Destiny USA,” David Aitken stated. “We are continuing to work toward creating the most unique collection of brands for this region that we can, and the Ecko Unlimited fashion and lifestyle brand is exemplary of that.”
Ecko Unlimited has been the leading face of global youth culture. The brand is part of the Marc Ecko Enterprises portfolio of brands which was founded in 1993 by Marc Ecko, Seth Gerzberg and Marci Tapper. Evolving from just six t-shirts and a can of spray paint, Marc Ecko Enterprises has become a full-scale global fashion and lifestyle company. The Ecko Unlimited outlet store will carry apparel and accessories for men and women. Marc Ecko will be located on the second floor of the expansion and occupy 3,000 square feet.
In 2006, Marc Ecko was awarded a Grammy for “Best Videogame Soundtrack.” In addition to his fashion lines, he has gained notoriety from his graffiti based court battles against New York City and again in 2006 for his “Tagging Air Force One” viral video campaign.
Currently, there are 62 Marc Ecko Outlets in the U.S., and three in New York State.
Ecko Unlimited is scheduled for completion in June 2012.

This exciting destination is designed to attract tourists from throughout the U.S. and Canada, destination shoppers and extend the draw of regional visitors well beyond a typical trade area. Oxford Economics has projected an annual visitation of over 29 million after the first phase of development is complete, making it the second most visited shopping center in the country, according to Travel and Leisure magazine. 1,600 full time jobs will also be created. Further development plans incorporate more than 120 acres of adjoining property, including hotels.

Syracuse, NY- Destiny USA is excited to announce Johnston & Murphy as the expansion’s latest addition for the Spring 2012 opening.
Johnston & Murphy is most well known for its quality men’s shoes, leather goods and accessories, but in 2008 introduced the brand introduced its women’s line. The brand has been committed to craftsmanship and style since 1850 and represents the strong and confident man and woman. The brand has expanded to menswear, woman’s outerwear, and luggage. The company has deemed itself “The Shoemaker to the American Presidents since 1850.”
“Destiny USA is adding a classic footwear brand with Johnston & Murphy,” David Aitken stated. “We are thrilled to have them join us as we continue to bring together a unique tenant mix.”
This will be Johnston & Murphy’s first store location in Central New York. The brand’s closest location is an outlet in Niagara Falls
Johnston & Murphy will occupy approximately 2,200 square feet on the first level and is projected to open in Spring 2012.
