The New York State Fair has ended with record attendance, the air is getting a bit crisp and the leaves will be turning into warm autumn shades soon. As the seasons change we are excited to share our changes happening here at Destiny USA just in time for fall!

Major Partnership Announcement:

Syracuse University recently announced a strategic multi-year tourism partnership between Syracuse Athletics, Destiny USA and the on-site Embassy Suites by Hilton Hotel, bringing the region’s two biggest attractions together to strengthen the draw and bring millions of travelers and tourists from around the world to experience the very best Central New York has to offer. Under the new partnership, Destiny USA’s Embassy Suites has become the “Official Hotel of Syracuse Athletics” through the 2021 season. Guests will receive exclusive ticket bundles, special Destiny USA attraction packages and game day amenities such as shuttle rides to and from the Carrier Dome. Embassy Suites One Year Anniversary:

In its first year, Embassy Suites by Hilton at Destiny USA has seen guests from 49 states, two territories, and 12 countries. Through a promotion offered by Destiny USA with the Fargo, ND Convention and Visitors Bureau titled “You-Betcha Destiny,” North Dakotans were encouraged to submit personal stories about why September 7th,  (the opening date of the hotel last year) was special to them for the opportunity to win a trip to Syracuse to complete the list to represent visitation from all 50 states. The lucky winners, Art and Nicole Thompson of Bismark, ND have a year to take advantage of complimentary airfare to Syracuse and accommodations at Embassy Suites to celebrate! Art, who kept his entry a secret, praised his wife for being a good mother to their daughter who was born on September 7, 2007.


New Shopping Options at Destiny USA:


Athleta, a fitness apparel brand exclusively for women and girls (owned by Gap, Inc.) is now open at Destiny USA. Athleta sells versatile premium performance apparel designed by women athletes to inspire a community of active, confident women and girls to reach their limitless potential. Located on the 2ndlevel in the Macys wing, in-store perks include free fitness classes, free hemming, a fitness professional discount program and expert fit stylists.




Children now have even more opportunities to dress in the latest style and comfort. Carter’s, the largest branded marketer of baby and children’s clothing in the United States, and OsKosh B’gosh, known for apparel with a playful personality that celebrates the imagination and creativity of the kids who wear it, have opened a joint store on Destiny USA’s 2nd level near Best Buy.



Billed as “the original meaning makers,” Alex & Ani jewelry shares ancient wisdom by interpreting it into modern design, alive with purpose. Start or add to your Alex & Ani collection with jewelry from the new Destiny USA location on the 2nd level in the Lord & Taylor wing.



Specializing in both cell phone repair and accessories, Shatter & Case has opened multiple locations throughout Destiny USA.


New Store-Within-A-Store Concepts:

ABERCROMBIE KIDS inside ABERCROMBIE & FITCHThe Abercrombie Kids concept, designed as the children’s version of Abercrombie & Fitch, targets consumers aged 7 – 14. The new “carve-out” store is located inside the parent store on the 1st level in the Lord & Taylor wing.



Lord & Taylor has added “FIND” departments throughout the store featuring great merchandise at outlet pricing, a must-shop for bargain hunters searching for real fashion at a fraction of the price.


Landing Soon at Destiny USA:


Action and adventure junkies will soon have on of the most complete and diverse entertainment venues at their fingertips on the 3rd level inside of Destiny USA. Experience laser tag, bowling, bumper cars, hyper-realistic VR and more at Apex Entertainment Center. The venue will also include a full-service kitchen serving American cuisine, plus a complete tavern.


110 GRILL:

110 Grill will showcase globally influenced and seasonally-inspired dishes that cater to those with food allergies and intolerances, including a gluten-free version of the entire core lunch and dinner menus. The affordable and wide-ranging menu will offer modern, American cuisine, served in a trendy yet casual atmosphere. 110 Grill will be located on the 2nd level in the food court area.


Another New Addition to the Destiny USA Group Day Pass Program:

Participants in our Group Day Pass Program now have another option to choose from. Passes can now be redeemed at Burger King for a double cheeseburger meal for adults or a 4-piece kid’s meal for children.

Destiny USA’s Group Day Pass Program gives you the opportunity to build fun and adventure (and, maybe even some food) into an itinerary. The program is available to groups of twelve or more and is fully customizable to fit any budget or time constraint.
