DESTINY USA WELCOMES NEWEST MEMBER OF SECURITY TEAM: K-9 ADA
— Retired NYS Police K-9 Ada and Handler Mark Bender Join Destiny USA’s Evolving Security Program —
Syracuse, NY (May 6, 2025) – Destiny USA is excited to announce the newest addition to its Security team: retired New York State Police K-9 Ada. Ada, along with her handler Mark Bender- a retired New York State Trooper who served 30 years on the force- has joined Destiny USA’s Security team.
With six years of service at the New York State Police, Ada brings experience and specialized training in many different scent detections, working with evidence, narcotics, and weapons. Off duty, Ada continues her service to the community through volunteer work with Oswego County’s Pioneer Search and Rescue team, where she assists as a trained cadaver dog. Guests can now spot Ada patrolling throughout Destiny USA as part of our evolving, proactive Security program.
