How Suite it Is: Destiny USA Reveals Brand Behind New Hotel

Embassy Suites Destiny USA Rendering

It’s official. Destiny USA’s first onsite hotel, under construction since June, will be a 209-room Embassy Suites by Hilton, a global brand of upscale, all-suite hotels.

And yes, as many of you have been asking throughout the day on social media, it will have a pool—not to mention a whole host of other amenities we know you’ll just love and just STEPS away from New York’s largest shopping, dining and entertainment destination. The hotel will feature all of the signature amenities offered at Embassy Suites, including free made-to-order breakfast each morning, a complimentary two-hour Evening Reception* with drinks and snacks, and suites with a separate living area, formal sleeping area, and a bar fitted with a microwave and refrigerator.

To celebrate the occasion and mark the announcement, an Embassy Suites flag was raised today on the roof at Destiny USA. The Embassy Suites will be the go-to property for guests traveling to visit Destiny USA and experience Central New York.

The $48 million hotel project was financed by a lending group led by M&T Bank and joined by Berkshire Bank and Tompkins Trust Company. The hotel is scheduled to open in the fall of 2017. The hotel project has created more than 200 construction jobs and will result in more than 70 permanent jobs when the hotel is completed. The project is being built by Hueber-Breuer Construction Co., along with a series of local contractors.
