ONONDAGA COUNTY TRAFFIC SAFETY ADVISORY BOARD TO HOST FINAL TYKES TUESDAY AT DESTINY USA
— Tykes Tuesday: Law Enforcement Day Will Be Held in the Canyon at Destiny USA on Tuesday, September 5th —
Syracuse, NY (August 30, 2023) – Destiny USA is excited to announce its partnership with the Onondaga County Traffic Safety Advisory Board for the final Tykes Tuesday of the 2023 season. Tykes Tuesday: Law Enforcement Day will be held on September 5th from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM in the Canyon at Destiny USA. Representatives from several local law enforcement agencies will be present to promote child safety awareness and educate families about local law enforcement. The Tykes Tuesday event will feature “Touch a Truck” with seven different law enforcement vehicles, interactive displays, demonstrations, and educational activities.

Participating organizations include the Syracuse Police Department, Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office, Cicero Police Department, Dewitt Police Department, Camillus Police Department, Manlius Police, Dewitt Police NAVAC Ambulance, Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office, Cicero Police Volunteers in Police Service, AAA, and the NYS Governor’s Traffic Safety Council.
Make-A-Wish CNY is the official charity partner of Tykes Tuesday and will be onsite raising funds and awareness. Several retailers, restaurants, and entertainment venues will provide exclusive discounts for families who attend Tykes Tuesday. These exclusive discounts will be circulated at the weekly programs. Tykes Tuesday attendees will get free admission to our Antique Carousel.
