WELCOME TO DESTINY USA

Syracuse, NY (August 15, 2022) – Destiny USA has partnered with Play the Game Read the Story, RetroGameCon, and Cuse Con to host their annual Tabletop Day in the Canyon on Level 1, Saturday, August 19th from 12pm to 6pm. The free, family-friendly day of gaming includes a massive board game lending library that is open to all attendees to play, plus local and regional board game developers, retro video games, play-to-win board games, kid’s activities, a Paint and Take miniature activity, board game demonstrations, and more.

“We’re excited for the return of our family-friendly board game event for 2023,” said Jason Engle, Manager of Play the Game Read the Story. “Stop by and try a new game from our library or bring one of your own to share.”

The event also features charity raffles consisting of board games and gaming merchandise, with all proceeds going to Extra Life, a program of the Children’s Miracle Network that benefits the Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital in Syracuse. Bullfinch Brewpub, located in the Canyon at Destiny USA, will also be donating 5% of each check for the day to Extra Life.

The previous Tabletop Day event in 2022 had several hundred attendees, making it one of the largest tabletop gaming events in the Central New York area. This is a FREE, family-friendly event, with activities for gamers of all ages. All attendees will receive a Tabletop Day button.
