Destiny USA Launches “Throwback Thursday” Facebook Photo Contest to Celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Carousel Center Opening

Destiny USA is turning back the hands of time with a special “Throwback Thursday” Facebook photo contest set to coincide with the 25th anniversary of the Carousel Center, which is commemorated on Thursday, October 15, 2015. The contest, which runs now through October 15, invites fans of Destiny USA’s Facebook page to share their photo memories tied to the shopping center for a chance to win one of 25 $100 gift cards.

“It’s hard to believe that Carousel Center opened 25 years ago, “said Rob Schoeneck, general manager, Destiny USA. “And while so much has changed over time, the signature memories have remained the same, from rides on the antique carousel to shopping experiences, first dates, marriage proposals, wedding receptions, proms, birthdays, and more. We’re excited to share and recognize some of the most memorable moments from the past 25 years.”

How to Enter:

  1. SHARE. Share a photo representing your best memory at Carousel Center from the past 25 years with Destiny USA on its Facebook wall. NOTE: For older printed photos, simply snap and share the photo with your mobile device.
  2. TAG. Tag your photo on Destiny USA’s Facebook page with #DUSA25. Encourage your friends to “LIKE” your photo.
  3. WIN. Destiny USA will monitor the photo submissions and select 25 winners, based on creativity and likes received on October 15, 2015.

Winning photos will be displayed inside Destiny USA near the antique carousel on October 15, 2015 at 12:30PM during a special celebration complete with cake and photo booth, which will be open to the public. For a complete list of contest rules, visit the Destiny USA Facebook page.
