That’s no Photoshop! The parking lots at Destiny USA were jam-packed with back-to-school shoppers and fairgoers all holiday weekend long as crowds flocked to New York State’s largest shopping, dining and entertainment destination.
And while an open parking spot may have been hard to find, spikes in excitement, traffic and sales across the property were in full supply:
- 5 Wits: popular entertainment destination 5 Wits absolutely crushed it, beating records from last year throughout the weekend.
- Cantina Laredo: the Canyon restaurant remained so busy, they nearly ran out of produce from an influx of hungry (and thirsty) guests.
- Dave & Buster’s: staff “could not believe” the number of guests throughout the center all weekend long.
- Eddie Bauer: travelers and tourists for the fair took advantage of great deals, with sales up 6% and international traffic from Israel, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Brazil, Spain, Dominican Republic, and Canada.
- Margaritaville: when Fair lots filled up, so did the bar at Margaritaville, which was “slammed” throughout the weekend.
- Embassy Suites Hotel at Destiny USA: our onsite hotel experienced 100% hotel occupancy and market-leading ADR every night.
- New York State Fair: record annual attendance of 1.2M guests and nearly 75,000 shuttle rides from Destiny USA over 13 days.
