ESTINY USA TO HOST ANNUAL SPOOK-A-THON WITH PUNKIN’ CHUCKIN’ SPONSORED BY MAKE-A-WISH CNY, TIM’S PUMPKIN PATCH, AND SYRACUSE POLICE DEPARTMENT
— Families Are Invited to Trick-Or-Treat and “Chuck-A-Pumpkin” on October 31st Inside the Canyon at Destiny USA —
Destiny USA invites all ghouls, goblins, and heroes for a family-friendly Halloween Celebration! Guests will have a safe, warm, and dry place to enjoy their Halloween at Destiny USA’s Spook-A-Thon on Friday, October 31st, from 3pm – 5pm inside Destiny USA’s Canyon area. The Halloween Spook-A-Thon promises a wide array of activities for children and adults alike including center-wide trick-or-treating, costume contest sponsored by the Syracuse Police Department, and the fourth annual Punkin’ Chuckin’ competition sponsored by Make-A-Wish CNY and Tim’s Pumpkin Patch. All proceeds from this year’s Punkin’ Chuckin’ event will be donated to Make-A-Wish CNY.
“Halloween is one of our favorite times of the year at Destiny USA,” said Samantha Marra-Marshall, Director of Marketing at Destiny USA, “The Spook-A-Thon is the perfect way to celebrate with family and friends, rain or shine – and for a good cause to support Make-A-Wish CNY.”
Families and children of all ages will enjoy:
- Punkin’ Chuckin’ for Make-A-Wish CNY– Ever wanted to smash a pumpkin from great heights? Brought to you by Tim’s Pumpkin Patch and Destiny USA, for $5 you can chuck a pumpkin over the third level in the Canyon to raise money for Make-A-Wish CNY. Watch the pumpkin go “splat” while aiding a great cause. Chuckin’ starts at 3pm, while supplies last. Must be 52” in height to participate. Rules and restrictions apply.
- Costume Contest- Pose in front of our spooky photo spot and submit it for a chance to win a Destiny USA bundle featuring prizes from APEX Entertainment, Build-A-Bear, Little Ray’s Nature Centre, and more.
- Trick-or-Treating 3-5pm – Look for stores with the special Halloween sticker displayed in their window or pick up a map on Halloween at the Security desk on Level 1. Candy is available while supplies last.
All trick-or-treaters, age 18 and younger, must be accompanied by an adult (21 years or older). Candy will be available at participating stores while supplies last.
