— Destiny USA’s Display Pyramids Have Been Decorated and Filled with Raffle Items to Raise Funds for Rahab Refuges’ House of Hope Residential Program —
Syracuse, NY (November 20, 2023) – Destiny USA has partnered with Rahab Refuge Ministries’ this Christmas Season by hosting their 2nd annual Festival of Trees from November 22, 2023, through January 7, 2024. This fundraising event benefits Rahab Refuges’ House of Hope residential program. The Festival of Trees consists of beautifully decorated Christmas Trees & other holiday decor displayed in Destiny USA’s glass pyramids. Shoppers/the public will have the opportunity to purchase a ticket to win the contents of each decorated pyramid, including the decor and the gifts. The raffle tickets will be available for purchase starting 11/22 and can be purchased online at rahabrefugeministries.org as well as at the ticket table located at Destiny USA (select hours). The raffle drawing will be on Jan 2nd, 2024 where we will announce the winners.
There are a total of 16 pyramids available for raffle. Six pyramids are located on the Commons Level and 10 are located on Level 1. Each Pyramid is sponsored by a local business and there will be signage on each pyramid with what you can win, how to purchase tickets, and who sponsored the pyramid. A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held on Wednesday, November 22nd at 1PM on Level 1 of the shopping center Macy’s Wing outside the first pyramid.
House of Hope will meet the needs of trafficking survivors in central New York by providing shelter in the form of a temporary residence for affected women and their children. This residential program will be a safe environment where each woman and child will be equipped with the skills necessary to re-enter society by being nurtured emotionally, mentally, and physically with love and compassion.
