Destiny USA partnering with the Syracuse Police Department and Assemblyman Bill Magnarelli to host an on-site recycling drive
Syracuse, NY – Destiny USA is hosting and co-sponsoring a free “Electronics Recycling Event” with the Syracuse Police Department and Assemblyman Bill Magnarelli on Saturday, November 19 from 9:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. in Destiny USA’s Pink Parking Lot on Solar Street near the Pedestrian Bridge. Vehicles can reach Solar Street from either Hiawatha Boulevard or Bear Street.
At the event, all used and unwanted electronics for recycling can be dropped off. Volunteers will accept all types of unbroken electronic equipment including PC’s/laptops, printers, cell phones, tube televisions of any size, and much, much more. “Sustainability is incredibly important to Destiny USA, and we’re excited to collaborate with our community partners working towards a common goal of a more sustainable environment,” said Aiden McGuire, director of marketing, Destiny USA. “This particular event comes at a great time to clear up some old, unused items and electronic clutter at home before we head into the winter months.”
Assemblyman Bill Magnarelli is also sponsoring the drive, along with the Syracuse Police Department. All proceeds will be used to benefit the Butternut Community Police Center.
