Destiny USA is announce today that three new specialty food brands will join the expansion. Freshly Squeezed, Fruit Berry Yogurt and Great American Cookie are preparing for their Destiny USA debut.

Freshly Squeezed, is a Canadian retailer that serves pure fruit juices from around the world. The brand is dedicated to providing customers with the freshest and purest fruit juice from across the globe including oranges and grapefruits from Florida, mangos from India, kiwis from New Zealand, and bananas from Central America. Customers can choose from a variety of menu choices including Energy Juices, Smoothies, Bubble Tea, Veggie drinks, and Matcha. Freshly Squeezed will be located on the second floor and take 1,100 square feet.

Fruit Berry Yogurt is an original concept started in Ithaca, NY by siblings David Park and Kwi An. Fruit Berry Yogurt will be located on the second floor of the expansion. Park and An will also open a Sweet Yummy Yogurt concept on the second floor of the existing center. Both locations will be self-serve.

“We’re thrilled to open at Destiny USA because I’m a local business owner,” David Park stated. “I think many people will enjoy our frozen yogurt. Destiny USA did a great job bringing the right tenants to make this a popular place to visit.”

Great American Cookie is the largest cookie baking company nationwide and currently operates locations in shopping centers across the country. Their generations old chocolate chip cookie recipe has expanded to a full line of gourmet cookies and brownies. Great American Cookie will be located on the second floor of the expansion.

Destiny USA is a new 2.4 million square foot destination that includes Carousel Center, a dominant super regional shopping center already attracting 20 million annual visits. The new expansion will mix all types of retail including luxury outlet tenants, restaurants and entertainment. New stores will continue to open over the next several months with a rebranding event scheduled for August 2, 2012. A stunning three-story glass atrium will provide perfect weather year round. This exciting destination is designed to attract tourists from throughout the U.S. and Canada, destination shoppers and extend the draw of regional visitors well beyond a typical trade area. Oxford Economics has projected an annual visitation of over 29 million after the first phase of development is complete, making it the second most visited shopping center in the country, according to Travel and Leisure magazine. It is the largest LEED^® Gold certified retail commercial building in the country. 1,600 full time jobs will also be created. 

Fruit Berry Yogurt is an original concept with its first location at Destiny USA. It is owned and operated by David Park and Kwi An from Ithaca, NY. The operators also own the new Sweet Yummy location coming to Destiny USA as well as Sushi O Sake restaurant at Ithaca Commons. There will be 14 flavors offered at the yogurt locations and they will both be self serve.

Freshly Squeezed started in Canada. The brand now has over 40 locations across Canada and is beginning to branch into the United States. Freshly Squeezed’s heritage stems from an orange-shaped kiosk that opened over 30 years ago in Toronto, ON. They were once known as Orange Cup, serving only fresh squeezed orange juice. The brand has now evolved to accommodate a variety of pure fruit juices from around the world.
