Universal Design. Self-sufficient Operations.

The fact that over 50 million Americans are physically challenged in some capacity is irrelevant at Destiny USA. Universal Design — Destiny USA will be fully and equally accessible for every visitor and has signed on as one of the first two “First Responders” with the Global Universal Design Commission (GUDC); which is establishing new international standards for accessibility. The GUDC is based in Syracuse, connected to the Burton Blatt Institute at Syracuse University and can be viewed as a similar organization to the US Green Building Council.

In addition, its environmental impact is being considered throughout all stages of the project. Wherever possible we are using renewable construction materials, and the building will not only be energy efficient, it will have minimal impact on its surroundings. Most importantly, Destiny USA will be self-sufficient, generating its own power by consuming municipal waste and agricultural byproducts.

Simply put, Destiny USA is more than an innovative experience.
